The SFT Magazine roster evaluation.

Lightweights

Allisa O’Toole Whether she admits it or not she has an ego, which sometimes gets in the way of her being realistic. But there is no denying her talent. She is creative enough, at times very deep but sometimes seems to take a step backwards on that. Very easy to read, very enjoyable, at times though it seems as if she’s writing by the seat of her pants not really understanding what she really wants to say. But she is one of the best rpers in the fed. 4 stars out of 5.

Allison Johnson She is Shadow’s wife but is much much more. Her rp style is very subtle. It’s like eating cheese and crackers. Very small delicate bites, her rps are sometimes deep and very well written. She sometimes lacks creativity but more than makes up for it in her work ethic and always rps when she has a match. A true diamond in the rough. 3 stars out of 5

Arsan Ayers A very mix rper, uses different styles to bring forth his talent. At times his stories are one could say poetic. Some of his stories are sad or one could say sort of romantic. But he lacks continuity, the constant change in styles does not work in his benefit. 3 and a half stars out of 5.

Brickcity B He has a very good style, not overly agressive, but fluid, hes creative and has a great work ethic and effort. He sets up his rps but at times lacks creativity which he needs to work on, but I see him going as far as he wants for now he gets 3 stars out of 5.

Genocide He just came back to SFT. He has this harsh attitude like he’s ona mission. His creativity is pretty good, his focus is on form. He switches gears from story to focus a bit weird, but overall a good style, I would go a bit more in-depth but he just only came back, but unlike other returnees like Aerith and Burton he has been rping. His rp length is very good and he looks like he hasn’t lost a step. Since I am evaluating current work he gets 3 and ¾ stars. And moving up fast.

Joe Mokoko He asked to be included in the magazine. His rps before he left were well written. Long rps, good stories, but like many others a clumsy attempt to move from story to focus. But he his style was great, he had all the tools and the last few rps before he left I would of awarded him 4 stars. He had the tools just at times lacked the effort.

Johnny Legend Where once this guy would of only gotten two stars he has since changed my mind. He has an aura about him now, he oozes confidence, his work rate is way up. His work is interesting at times funny, but a good mix of different feelings throughout his stories, he still at times lacks creativity but with his cliff jumping rp even that has begun to improve. He gets 4 stars out of 5.

Kamikaze A long time ago this guy was a joke, a joke character a joke wrestler, but you know what, aint no one laughing now, he’s changed his style he’s more competitive, his work rate is also up, His creativity has something to be desired and he has yet to go through those personal hells that one goes through to truly love their own character, once you care about your own character, others will to. I just don’t feel that from him, he has all the tools to be the best, but something is holding him back, its hard with him, I just feel something missing, creativity maybe, maybe more internal or deep thoughts, its something like that something close in any case he’s on the verge of breaking out big time,. 3 and half stars out of 5.

Kayleigh Jameson Another toughie, with her I find myself hard to root for someone whose had the whole world handed to her cause of her beauty. Former model rich girl, I again think to myself why should I care bout this character, her writing makes me care though, at times she too lacks some creativity but is well written and spoken. She could improve on length but that’s secondary to more internal and deeper dialogue. She gets 2 and a half stars out of 5.

Manix When first he arrived he had nothing to offer. Short cliché rps. Something I could read and forget in a few minutes. But slowly his work rate went up giving him some attention. His rps have started to improve but still he has a long way to go. He needs to give his character depth and definition make him more real than just a cool name. He is Hardcore Champ, but that’s only due to his hard work, he needs to work on defining who he is and becoming more creative. 2 stars out of 5.

Precious At times her rps have been way to short, she tries hard to disguise the lack of creativity with her beauty and mostly does succeed. As much as I love her I must be impartial, but she has improved immensely, becoming a bit more creative with her stories, still has a ways to go but she is taking great strides, her work ethic is great and she never complains and I know she tries. She gets 2 and a 3/4 stars out of 5.

Ray Cross Hes a workhorse. Lacks a bit in the creative department but he’s very focused and a hard worker. He’ll go as far as he wants to go. End of story. 3 and ¾ stars out of 5. And will surely move higher when he returns.

Regina Eisley She’s new she’s different her style reminds me of Allisa. But without the attitude. She has a very good style and very creative at times she’s lacked focus but not always and sometimes she clumsily crosses over from the story to smack talk she has to find a smoother transition but for a newb she’s impressed me. For now she gets a 3 and a half stars but is very close to a 4.

Smurfmaster This guy really is a joke, he’s one of the most creative and with a name like that has to be, but lacks allot focus and anything having to do with SFT or the match at hand. He is the most beatable in SFT but I feel it is of course by design, thus he gets a 1 and a half stars. His endings are weak but everything in-between is strong and very smooth to read. He gets 1 and 3/4 stars out of 5.

Interloper He’s a solid rper, his intro’s are weak though, never sets a setting or some internal thoughts its like he has attention deficit disorder jumping from one idea to another, he needs to stabilize himself, he has the tools just like others I’ve mentioned tonight, but a new character brings new problems. 3 stars out of 5

HEAVYWEIGHTS

Angel of Death He has cliché gimmick but in this day of new gimmicks, he’s sort of a breath of fresh air. The old evil I am gimmick works for him or better yet he makes it work. At times his rps are too short but you can see real talent behind him if only he tried a bit more. He had been pretty consistent till lately. He could use more, just more. For now I give him 2 and 1/3 stars out of 5.

Bruiser A fairly new face to SFT, he lacks creativity but has somewhat focus. Its hard to really evaluate him considering he’s only had 2 marches. But just being here says something for his taste and his talent level. For now I give him 2 stars out of 5.

Burton Edwards He is a former world champion. His rps have a style quite his own, sort of goth, sort of internal, the stuff that really is quite enjoyable to read, but his work ethic since returning leaves something to be desired. If I were reviewing him when he was at his peak, when he was champion he’d probably get 4 and a half stars but with his disappointing return he gets 2 stars only. But I look for him to get back to form and get back to what we all know he can do.

Dave Johnson A rookie but from the little I’ve seen he is creative, has decent length rps, but lacks focus. His stories while interesting lack the focus needed to go far in SFT. In time I see him improving in all aspects for now 2 starts out of 5.

Drogden He has been one of SFT’s work horses. Almost never failing to rp. His ooc attitude is awesome, he never bitches or complains and just keeps on keeping on. He has interesting and creative rps at times lacking focus but overall I like to read his works and am never thinking its something recycled. He could use hitting more than 1 rp or 2 if he’s on his game, but as it is he gets 3 stars out of 5.

Grizzly Z Grizzly Z is fairly new but in his short time he’s managed to make quite the impression. He’s had a few weeks where he’s fought twice a week and each time he’s done excellent work. So just for his work ethic he gets my respect. Hr has a fresh style, could use a bit more creativeness, (MORE ) 3 and 1/3 stars out of 5

Havoc Havoc while having been solidified as a main eventer at times lacks confidence in his skills, he seems to want approval from most, that sense of trying to please everyone’s likes is at times a strength but can be a weakness as well, he must trust in himself more and care less what others think He has the creative style just seems to lack the intuitiveness to link it fluidly. His depth is fine but could go further, but his rps is always strong and well written. And they have a nice feel to them. It’s hard to really grasp what he’ll come up with next which in this case is good. He gets 4 and ¼ stars out of 5.

Kabal One thing you can say for this guy he’s never boring, sometimes he’s creative, sometimes he’s funny, and most times he’s just down right weird. But he lacks consistency, he lacks confidence, he lacks that killer instinct most have. But where he lacks he makes up for in good humor and good natured fun. He gets 2 and ¾ stars.

Kyle Murphy One of the true legends of the game. A real old timer, dates back to 2000 at least, and one of the few who partook in the original and legendary Holy Wars. His style has not changed much, he is creative enough, very focused, the only thing I see hurting him is effort, he never does more than 1 rp, 2 at the most, even for ppvs. With a little more effort he could easily be world champion. But old timers have a hard time changing. But his rps are still great. I give him 3 and ¾ stars out of 5.

Louis Cypher 2 time world champion in SFT is quite the accomplishment. He has great creativity, good focus, at times his rps can be a bit short and his spacing at times is irritating, but his work ethic is next to none. He is one of the hardest workers in SFT, and a great ooc attitude which is basically non existent. His rps are deep and thought provoking at times. I give him 4 stars out of 5.

Lucas Balkan I like his rps allot, very creative, very fluid style, but he like Havoc has a problem managing to converge both story and focus together instead it’s like a change in gears in a car done very clumsily. And at times his focus on the match is too short and should be more focus on the match and less on the story or a better more even mixture, before his leave I’d probably have given him a higher rating. But now I am evaluating current work, and he gets 3 and ¾ stars out of 5.

Nirvana What can I say bout this guy he is a future hall of famer without a doubt. He has a style that’s a mixture of Fox and Shadow. Very creative, very poetic, at times he too lacks focus, but he more than makes up for it in other areas, his work ethic is very good, his ooc attitude while being inconsistent is forgiven. He could use a tad more focus but nothing major really. I give him the highest rating so far of 4 and a half stars out of 5.

Reaper Still sort of a new character, his rps are full of smack talk which gets him kudos for the focus, at times he’s creative but could still use more work on the creative side. He has a good work ethic, but seems to be dragged down by the ooc board, he should try to focus less on that aspect of SFT and more on directing his work on the rps. For now I give him 3 and ¾ stars out of 5. But moving up soon.

Sean Mason A rookie in SFT. He like many others in SFT lack a good introduction, he just jumps right in and does not set a setting. He does not help the writer visualize properly the story. He does have a good style and manages to fluidly go from story to focus almost seamlessly. He has a good work ethic and for a virtual newb I award him 3 and half stars out of 5, but is quickly rising.

Slade Wilson Slade has a nice style, good setting, creative, fluid focus, he has all the tools to go as far as he wants, his only problem is I don’t think he really knows what he wants to accomplish with his character or what his purpose is or should be. He has a character and a good one but doesn’t know what to do with it or what his characters final purpose should be. But as for his rps and efforts he inches up to the 4 star out of 5.

Venom He has an easy style which is good. He sets up the rps fine but his real weakness is creativity, he’s not creative enough, but more than makes up for it in focus, his work ethic has been called into question at times, but he seems to be getting back to normal. So for now I am giving him 3 stars.

Rookies

Dynamic Dynamite Well not much to evaluate he’s been here a short time, his intro of music lyrics is quite irritating, but after you get past that you see he sets up his rps quiet well. He’s decently creative, his dialogue is a bit cliche but that’s alright, his rp length is very good and for barely arriving I am giving him 2 and ¾ stars and rising very fast. This guy will be at 3 or more stars within a month.

Ryoko T. A rookie but has a good style. Very easygoing, He’s creative enough and has focus. He could use his rps a bit longer but length doesn’t matter. He’s just so new and we don’t know how he’ll do in the long run. I think he could use with more rps, like put a bit more effort wise but for now just like DD before him I give him 2 and ¾ stars but moving up quite fast.

Ok thats it, I hoped you enjoyed the SFT Mag and stay tuned for other editions coming sooner than this one LOL.
