War Opening

The lights dim and the crowd deafens and here we go. Its WAR TIME!

Match Number One
Brass Martin vs. Manix vs. Jason Vain
Triple Threat

Lost And Found by Mudvayne plays and Brass Martin steps out from the back. Once he appears at the top of the runway he jumps up as the pyros flash, runs toward the ring and slides under the bottom rope and looks towards the crowd with a mean vicious face, then stands facing the runway waiting for his opponent.

Colds song suffocate hits, the arena is dark, and Jason Vain walks really cocky, and once he gets to the ring he poses for the crowd in a cocky manner. They cheer and boo in unison.

I Stand Alone plays over the PA system as the arena goes black. The Omega Infinity symbol flashes across the screen as strobe lights slowly pulse across the entrance. The Strobes slow in speed until Manix steps out. He stalks towards the ring. Once at the ring he slowly climbs up the stairs. Once at the top he takes off his shirt and then enters the ring.

The three men standing in the ring, look at each other as the bell rings. His opponents look at Brass Martin and charge the newcome sending him into the turnbuckle. Manix lays down the punches while Jason Vain runs to the opposite turnbuckle, charges along the ring and bodysplashes both of his opponents. He hits a snap German suplex on Vain, then kicks him in the ribs and out of the ring. Brass, stunned and grappled from behind by Manix, whips him overhead with a Judo toss and a senton splash followed by a quick arm bar attempt.

JC: Wow, what a way to introduce the new guy to SFT!

RW: And what a way he greeted them. Bitchslapped!

Vain slides back into the ring and nails a drop kick to Martin to break the hold. He then lifts Brass up and whips him into the ropes. Tripping Manix back over, he quickly follows up a drop toe hold on Brass, causing him to headbutt Manix. Vain laughs, when all of the lights go out.

There is a sinister, female laugh through the arena and then, a bright flash.

JC: What the hell was that my friend?

RW: God knows, but look, both of Vain’s opponents are now back up! Manix and Brass work together with two big boots to knock Jason Vain over!

They lift him up together and perform a double powerbomb, sending Vain down hard into the middle of the ring. Manix attempts to cover.

1… 2…

Brass, seeing this, leg drops Manix and goes for his own pin, only to be swept back off. The two men grapple onto their feet and exchange shots. Manix goes behind, trips Brass up with a sweep and goes for a figure four pin, which Brass kicks out of immediately and locks his opponent up into a Mahistrol cradle, again, an instant kick out. Both men get up and Manix goes to the ropes and hits Brass with a flying forearm on the rebound. As he gets up, he has no chance to dominate as Vain kicks to the gut and follows up with a snapmare and followed by an inverted DDT!

RW: Swift moves.

Manix however, gets right back up onto his feet, and when Vain goes for a spear, he reverse it right into a body sleeper! The move persists for some time until Brass tears up the hold, throwing Vain away and lifting Manix. The two exchange more blows and Manix, once again running against the ropes, goes for another flying forearm, but misses Martin and hits Vain square between the eyes!

Manix gets up to be hit with a sucker punch in the back of the head from Martin! Brass then grips Vain and sets him up quickly for ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’, a tombstone piledriver, but he is not quick enough as Manix returns with a spinning heel kick sending both men into the turnbuckle! Brass drops Vain and he stumbles into the hands of Manix, who goes and ‘Venoms Taste’, but Vain struggles out before he can lock in the Cobra clutch! He turns around and whips Manix for a drop kick off the ropes, but Manix slides out, locks in for the Hellride and knocks Vain straight out. Before he can pin, Martin hits a huge big boot to the head!

JC: Well, I don’t think this is going to Vain tonight.

Martin follows up by going to the top rope and Martin first looks at Manix who is still stirring and now bleeding from the shot, then he looks at Jason Vain, knocked out. He nods to himself and dives off, delivering a perfect version of the swanton bomb, the ‘Brass Assassin’.

1… 2… 3…!

Manix nearly manages to throw him off but just fails as the ref calls for the bell! But then the same sinister laugh echoes through the huge room until it slowly fades away. Martin looks around but happily has his arm raised as the victor.

Winner: Brass Martin

Match Number Two
Aerith Robin-Solari vs. Elijah Rolan
Standard match

Aerith's music begins, and she enters the arena after the introduction has ended. She stands for a moment, jogging upon the spot, her eyes fixed upon the floor. In her hands a water bottle will be present. She takes a final sip, before dousing the contents over herself and discarding the bottle. She makes her way to the ring immediately, entering underneath the second rope.

Phil: And we're on!

Steve: I'm looking foward to this match. You know, My sources say that Aerith is nursing an injured knee. It might make things a litle tough for her here.

Elijah is already in the ring, and takes straight to the defensive. He is quick to try to go for a leg take down, but Aerith quickly jumps back. The move causes Elijah to fall on his face. Aerith fighst back by sending a karate kick into Elijah's ribs.

Phil: Not much power behind those kicks.

Steve: We...she does have an injured knee.

Aerith quickly bends down, touching her knee as Elijah laughs and gets to his feet. Elijah lifts Aerith into the air and delivers a spine buster. He measures her up and drops a closed fist. Aerith gets back to his feet, holding her knee as she does. Elijah climbs to his feet. She goes for an uppercut, right to the chin of Elijah. He stumbles back, but shakes his head in an attempt to clear his head of the pain. Aerith with a knife edge chop to Ali K's chest, the move resembles a karate chop.

Steve: She's visably slower tonight.

Elijah gets back to his feet. Aerith jabs Barra Watson . Elijah gets taken down with a fierce corkscrew armdrag, and screams in pain. Aerith hits Alijah with a hugh kick to the head. She goes for a pin. . ..1 ...2 ...kickout! hey both get up and Aerith goes for the Princess Guard! Elijah screams in pain!

Phil: Can he fight out!

Steve: AHHHHHHHHH!

Elijah taps!

Winner: Aerith Robin-Solari

Match Number Three
Slade Wilson and Riley Thorne vs. Nirvana and Agent Orange
Lethal Lottery Round 2 match

JC: Ladies and gentlemen, this is the main event of the evening, the first quarter-final Lethal Lottery match as Riley Thorne & Slade Wilson take on Nirvana & Agent Orange! This match could be termed a styles clash with the different tactics the competitors bring to ring.

RW: That’s exactly right. We have two brawlers in Thorne & Wilson, we have a martial arts master in Nirvana, and Agent Orange brings a technical and high flying aspect to the ring. Also, consider the fact that Thorne and Wilson, while being partners in this match, aren’t equaled loved by the fans.

JC: Well that’s the nature of the Lethal Lottery. You don’t get to the pick your partners and have to live with what you draw.

The lights in the arena fall and the sound of Pantera's "Suicide Note Pt. 1" cranks on throughout the arena and red and gray spotlights search across the crowd as they grow in anticipation. Riley Thorne suddenly jumps out from behind the curtain sporting a leather jacket. He slowly paces his way down to ringside. Among finally reaching the ring, he slides underneath the ropes in a quick fashion, stands up in the middle of the ring with his hands out, and then walks to the corner and climbs up to the top turnbuckle, looking down the aisle as he awaits his partner’s entrance.

“Welcome to the Jungle” begins to play over the PA as fans stand on their feet. From backstage the fans hear the loud roaring sound of a motorcycle. Slade Wilson emerges riding a dirty beat up Harley Davidson motorcycle. He roars the engine loud then rides fast to the ring popping a wheelie at the start. He circles the ring once and stops. Slade turns the bike off and then gets off the motorcycle turns slides into the ring headfirst. He eyes Thorne suspiciously and the two men carefully move to the far end of the ring eyeing each other the entire way.

RW: Doesn’t seem to me like either guy wants to be partners with the other but they are going to have to learn to get along if they are going to advance.

Johnny Cash's hurt hits the PA as images of tombstones appear on the Striketron. The crowd begins to shout as the arena goes black and pictures of a morgue appear on the Striketron. Pictures of bodies ripped apart, bodies crawling with maggots, etc. As the fans begin to boo a light shines onto the ramp as the pictures on the jumbotron change to a big grey screen. Suddenly the arena goes deep green as "Hurt" continues to play on the PA and a golden spotlight illuminates the entranceway. Nirvana and Ms. Black step out from behind the apron. Nirvana is decked out in a fancy, old fashioned suit, hair parted off to the side, and greased down. He smiles to the crowd with all the pizazze of a salesman, but with the personality of a shark. Comfortable, yet slightly unsettling images display on the Striketron. Traditional families eating traditional dinners, watching traditional television, playing with traditional toys...but nobody looks happy. Nirvana makes his way to the ring, spinning his cane, and doffing his hat to the fans, who, in turn, boo him. Climbing into the ring, he removes his suit, revealing his wrestling gear beneath it. He goes to the to the nearby turnbuckle and taunts the fans with his cane, which he drops outside the ring as he shares a passionate kiss with Ms.Black.

"This Fire" by Franz Ferdinand begins to play pumping over the speakers in the arena. After a few seconds Agent Orange arrives. Agent Orange just looks at the ring. Orange slides under the bottom rope and goes to his corner. There he falls back leaning against the turnbuckle.

JC: Once the bell rings this match will be underway and we’ll have to pay attention to how these two teams manage to put their differences aside and let the goal of advancing in the Lethal Lottery take the top priority.

Nirvana and Slade Wilson start the match for their teams, although Slade is forced into it because Thorne refuses to get into the ring to start. Nirvana starts the match off with some armdrags into an armbar but Wilson fights up and decks him with a right hand. Wilson hits a headbutt against the ropes and whips Nirvana against the ropes and delivers a drop toe hold. Wilson tries to hit an elbowdrop off the ropes but Nirvana rolls away to avoid the move and covers Wilson. 1….2…and Wilson quickly escapes. Nirvana whips Wilson into the turnbuckles but the move gets reversed and Orange ends up against the turnbuckles. However, a blind charge by Wilson gets him a foot to the face by the quick thinking Orange and while Wilson tries to shake off the pain of the blow Nirvana hits a 540 degree kick and covers. 1….2… and another quick kickout by Wilson. Thorne angrily slaps Wilson onto the back to tag himself into the contest and runs at Nirvana with a clothesline only to miss the move and have Nirvana take him to the canvas with a judo toss. Nirvana gets a vertical side kick and traps Throne into a leg lock near his corner. Nirvana reaches over and tags in Agent Orange and he runs the ropes and delivers a quick kneedrop to the back of Thorne’s head and covers. 1….2….but Wilson breaks up the pinfall attempt before the referee can count to three. As the referee backs Wilson out of the ring Nirvana chokes Thorne on the bottom rope and when the referee turns around he sees Agent Orange apply an STF.

JC: Excellent teamwork there from Nirvana and Agent Orange. It appears as if they have a game plan in the early stages of this match.

RW: Well, that’s just what you think right now John but if they had such great teamwork they wouldn’t have allowed Wilson to break up that pinfall by coming three quarters of the way across the ring.

Thorne refuses to submit when the referee asks him to and suddenly Orange breaks the hold and tags in Nirvana as they both execute a double-dropkick and Nirvana covers. 1….2…kick out! Thorne gets to his feet dazed and Nirvana nails him with a vertical side kick and throws him down to the canvas again with a judo toss. Orange gets tagged in again and Thorne decides to flee to the arena floor but Orange runs the ropes and executes a beautiful suicide dive onto Thorne on the floor. The referee starts counting both men out of the ring. 1…..2…..3….Orange and Thorne get to their feet dazed and suddenly Wilson comes into the ring, runs the ropes, and crashes onto both men on the floor. 4…….5……..6…..Wilson rolls his partner into the ring and Nirvana quickly does so as well, not wanting to get counted out because of this recent indiscretion.

Orange gets to his feet with the help of the ropes inside the ring but an attempt at a Canadien destroyer sees Thorne fall to his feet and get a desperation low blow. Thorne picks up Orange, gives him a slam, and tags in Wilson who hits Orange with a flying heel kick when he gets to his feet. Wilson nails Orange with a headbutt and as Orange staggers around the ring trying to recover, Wilson runs the ropes and delivers an Asai moonsault off of them. 1….2…and Nirvana interrupts the count. Wilson pounds the mat in frustration and gets a spinning elbow off the ropes and covers again. 1….2….kick out! Wilson tags in Thorne and they execute a double-DDT and we see another cover. 1…..2…..Nirvana interrupts the count again. The referee then pushes Nirvana back to his corner and while he’s distracted Wilson & Thorne give him a double-elbowdrop and a double-hotshot.

JC: The referee needs to turn around or this match is going to be over! C’mon!

RW: The referee can only call what he sees John, don’t get your panties in a wad over it.

When the referee finally gets his focus back on the match he sees Thorne drilling Orange with a Pedigree and covering. However, Thorne has his feet on the ropes. The referee counts 1…..2……and suddenly Thorne falls off because Ms. Black has come over and pushed them off. Wilson shakes his head in disbelief on the apron and stalks Ms. Black around ringside but when he enters into enemy territory Nirvana hits him with a spinning kick off the apron. The referee then goes to the outside to get control of the situation and that allows Thorne to grab a steel chair, smack Orange over the head with it when he gets to his feet, place the chair on Orange’s face and legdrop it across him, and then giving him the Betrayal on it.

JC: Damn it! There needs to be another referee for this match because the one we currently have can’t control what is going on. Agent Orange is going to suffer permanent damage because of this crappy officiating!

RW: It looks as if Thorne & Wilson are going to be advancing into the semi-finals of the Lethal Lottery!

The referee re-enters the ring and sees Thorne covering Orange and begins to count. 1…….2……..but Orange puts his foot on the ropes at two as the crowd yells in approval. Thorne argues with the referee and Orange gets a schoolboy rollup. 1……2…….KICK OUT! Thorne delivers an elbowdrop to the back of Orange’s head and tags Wilson back into the match. Wilson gives Orange an eye rake and nails him with the Louisiana Slam and holds on for the cover. 1………2……….and Nirvana again interrupts the count. Wilson dropkicks Nirvana out of the ring and tags in Thorne and they deliver a DDT-moonsault combination and cover again. 1………..2………..KICK OUT!

JC: I can’t believe what I’m seeing here. Agent Orange might be one of the smaller competitors in this match but he doesn’t want to leave the Lethal Lottery tournament.

RW: Oh don’t give him that much credit, John. Nirvana has had to save his ass numerous times.

Thorne whips Orange into the ropes and prepares for a backdrop but Orange leaps over and gets a sunset flip. 1…..2…….kick out! Orange crawls closer to his corner but Thorne cuts him off and delivers a spinning neckbreaker. Thorne tags in Wilson and they continue the assault with a double-front face suplex and then Thorne gets tagged in again and they get a double-clothesline. Thorne sets Orange up for the Addiction but as the referee is berating Wilson for being in the ring too long Nirvana comes in and delivers a spinning heel kick to Thorne to stop it and now both men are down. The crowd begins to chant “make the tag” at Orange as the referee begins to count. 1…..2………..3………..4………..5……

JC: C’mon Orange! Make that tag!

RW: The referee should disqualify Orange & Nirvana for that blatant interference!

6…….7……..8……Thorne tags in Wilson and Orange dramatically pulls himself up off the canvas and tags in Nirvana right before Wilson can get to him. The crowd explodes as Nirvana levels Wilson with several martial arts kicks and drills him with a spike slam. Thorne rushes in to aid his partner but gets knocked down with a double monkey punch and the same treatment is given to Wilson. Thorne charges again at Nirvana with a clothesline but Nirvana ducks and superkicks Thorne to floor.

JC: There’s the superkick! I think that Thorne is out cold here on the floor!

Orange suddenly regains his bearings on the apron and runs the ropes to deliver a twisting plancha onto Thorne on the floor. The crowd pops for that move and the referee goes out again to split up the action that is unfolding. In the ring, though, Wilson blocks another judo toss from Nirvana and takes him down with a hiptoss. Suddenly out of the locker room comes Johnny Legend.

RW: What?!?!? It’s Johnny Legend! What the hell kind of business does he have to be down here at ringside John?

JC: I have no idea. I guess he wants a better glimpse of the action.

Legend calmly walks down to the ring and Wilson doesn’t even notice he is there. Wilson slams Nirvana and prepares to hit him with the SAVAAAAAAT KICK!! but Legend grabs his leg. Wilson argues with Legend about what he thinks he’s doing and that allows Nirvana to get off the canvas and deliver a running enzeguri to the back of Wilson’s head. Nirvana then hooks in the Devil Lock and the referee returns to the ring to see that Wilson is completely knocked out and counts. 1…… 2…………..3!

JC: I don’t believe it! Nirvana and Agent Orange have survived and will advance to the semi-final round of the Lethal Lottery tournament! What a match!

Winner: Nirvana and Agent Orange

War Closing

RW: Yea and it stinks John, it stinks. Johnny Legend may been wanting to make his return to the SFT tonight but he had no business coming to ringside and assisting Nirvana and Agent Orange to victory.

JC: Well regardless Johnny Legend is back here in the SFT and we have the first two participants of the semi-finals of the Lethal Lottery in Nirvana & Agent Orange. We thank you fans for joining us tonight for Wednesday Night War. See you on Inferno!
